- Conferva floridula Dillwyn, 1809
  - Syntype localities: "Rocks on the Sea shore. On the Galway Coast; Dr. Scott. On the Antrim Coast; Mr. Mackay." [Ireland].
  - Lectotype: BM (Woelkerling & Womersley 1994: 45). Type locality: Galway coast, Ireland. Holotype (cited as lectotype in Diaz-Tapia, 2014): NMW (fide Woelkerling, 1971: 31). but later publications cite BM (Dixon & Irvine, 1977: 97; Woelkerling & Womersley in Womersley, 1994: 45).
