sudo dpkg -i package.debshould installpackageif that is what you want.ar x package.debwill simply extract the filescontrol.tar.gzdata.tar.xzdebian-binaryinto the current directory. -- If something else is happening I think your deb file is corrupted. – sudodus Jul 18 '22 at 06:21
