Green Mansions; A Romance of the Tropical Forest is a novel by William Henry Hudson. It was published in 1904. The story is about a traveller to southeastern Venezuela who encounters a forest dwelling girl named Rima. The book was adapted to a movie in 1956 starring Tony Perkins and Audrey Hepburn.
