Czech (čeština), historically called Bohemian, is a language of the Slavic language group. It is the native language of 10.7 million people, who mostly live in the Czech Republic. Czech is the official language of the Czech Republic and an official language of the European Union. Czech is mostly relatable to the Slovak language.

The language is recognized as an official minority language in Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Poland, Romania and Slovakia. It uses the Latin script and is heavily influenced by Latin and German.
